This Privacy Policy explains how OptnGrow (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use optngrow.com, request a callback, join the free Python week or enroll in a program. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.

1. Data we collect

  • Details you give us: name, email, phone number, city, education or work background, and learning goals, through our forms, calls, WhatsApp or email.
  • Learning data: attendance, assignment and project submissions, and mentor feedback.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by Razorpay or other authorised payment partners. We receive a confirmation and transaction reference; we do not collect or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your data

  • To respond to callback requests and counsel you about our programs
  • To enroll you, deliver sessions, give you platform access and issue certificates
  • To send batch updates, reminders and support messages by email, phone or WhatsApp
  • To process payments, refunds and invoices, and meet legal and tax obligations
  • To improve our website, curriculum and services
  • To send information about new programs or offers, which you can opt out of at any time

3. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run OptnGrow, such as website hosting, email, payment processing, video-conferencing and learning-platform providers, and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep the website working, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.

5. Data retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction, and enrollment and payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing messages, or nominate someone to exercise your rights. Email support@optngrow.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our programs are meant for learners aged 18 and above. If a learner is under 18, we process their data only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
